Loving two songs- Skyscraper by Demi Lovato and Edge of Glory by Lady Gaga! The first time after I heard Edge of Glory I asked Molly if she had heard it and she said "Uh ya, its like my theme song!"

New plan, same old plan
Yesterday I started working out again trying to get back in shape after 4 kiddos and trying to keep my heart healthy so as not to have to leave my children too soon! It felt great I went 2 miles and I think I did about a 20 minute mile yikes that is so slow! Oh well slow and steady wins the race I guess :)
Epic Fail and a funny little tale
So I am feeling like a failure at this blog that I know 1 person reads when I tell her to :) so there shouldn't be any pressure. I am not sure why it is so hard to write things down for me but I am not going to quit doing it.
So here goes- On Sunday Shane and I were having a little argument and Tiger was standing next to me listening and we had a hilarious convo that I will now transcribe for you-
Tiger- "you guys shouldn't talk like that, it's kind of stupid you know"
Me- "oh really why"?
Tiger- "cause its like Jesus's brother, he wants us to choose the wrong"
Me- "your right we should talk nicer."
That kid is funny and smart

Funny Molly
So our blog was called sugar freedom and Molly wrote-
It seems, that to my subconscious, sugar freedom has come to mean...free to eat all the sugar I want. Last night, when I wasn't even hungry, Ben left some chocolate ice cream on the counter. Just when it had gotten to the perfect point of softness, I discovered it. Serendipitiously, Thomas, earlier in the day, had left the peanut butter (almost empty and lidless) out on the counter. Since neither one really appeals to me (plain chocolate ice cream...gag) I was about to put them away. When suddenly, inspiration struck. I quickly grabbed a spoon and dumped some ice cream in a bowl and another spoon and dropped several spoonfuls of peanut butter on top. Next, I mixed them together. The ice cream stayed soft while the peanut butter got deliciously hardened. It was perfect. So maybe instead of chronicling our journey to sugar freedom, we should record all the great ways we find to sneak sugar, even when we weren't planning to, into our diet. P.S. I just realized how messy this makes me sound (peanut butter and ice cream left out on the counter for an extended period of time)...why don't you try living in a hotel room with four kids.

Funny Molly
Molly wrote this a while ago when we decided to start a blog about the two of us not eating sugar, we were not very good at not eating sugar :)
Molly wrote-Aside from the heaping teaspoons of Nutella, Nutella on my morning toast, and dipping all my chips in Nutella, I rarely eat sugar anymore. I don't know what has brought on this sudden increase in willpower...maybe Nutella has some secret ingredient that squelches sugar cravings...whatever it is, it's working.

My New Book...due out 2012
So I am writing a book! Ha ya right...but I really sorta am just with Sissy and I am really excited about it... my friend told me her little girl and her husband were writing a book and I thought it was such a fun idea I asked Sis if she wanted to and she loved the idea! Our working title is Our Family Book, we have some good stuff so far and sis is going to illustrate it. I am going to print it with my publisher or blurb or something and I am way excited.
