I love lists. I especially love lists of books. Have you ever heard the poem by Emily Dickinson about reading? "He ate and drank the precious words, His spirit grew robust. He knew no more that he was poor, or that his frame was dust. He danced along the dingy days, And this bequest of wings...was but a book, What liberty, A loosened spirit brings." Not only have the books listed below helped me to survive but I hope the ones in the children's section have given my children a "bequest of wings'.
